Hello, everybody! This is a first introduction post to my progress blogs — a test post, almost. As of today, June 16th of 2026, I have officially started my project and my project website, but I haven’t done much after that. No worries, though — I promise I’m committed to it.

My first order of business is to test whether my brainstormed ideas are actually possible at all. It’s widely known that total large-area active noise cancelling is impossible, but my goal is just to block noise from outside my room from entering it, not to cancel noise that has originated from inside it, so I have hope that this will be different. Still, I don’t know if it will work, so I have to test that. I think maybe I’ll use Python to code a simulation, but I’m not certain how I’ll do that just yet.
